Munich is known for its Bavarian nature which can be seen in its cuisine too. Weißwurst, a breakfast sausage that is traditionally eaten as a late breakfast, is a well-known food in Munich. Weißwurst is served with a greyish-white pigment which makes it more delicious. Other meals that you can enjoy in Munich are Schweinsbraten, which is a roasted pork or Schweinshaxe, which is a roasted pig’s knuckle.

If you do not find Bavarian food to be appetizing, then too you have a fair chance to enjoy many international cuisines like Chinese, Italian, and the typical American fast food. If you want to feed yourself with a snack, then you can try the Leberkäsemmeln which is widely available in a butcher shop. You can also taste marvelous German/Austrian style cakes and tortes available in countless bakeries and cafes.
